ONE BERRIMA (formally BGCG) is a small, informal working group of Berrima residents and interested parties that was formed due to concerns about the Gaol redevelopment, following our first ‘Whole of Community’ meeting earlier this year (2024).
Our aim is to canvas the broader local community to understand their views of the redevelopment of Berrima Gaol and remain open as a communication channel. It is important to know that right now there is no formal ONE BERRIMAs position.
The reason for the group remaining neutral is because currently there are no firm or detailed plans put forward by Blue Sox or the State Government as to what they are planning – or in the latter case, what the Government will accept.
